Cannabis Export from Thailand for Licensed EU Importers
Solar Farm Thailand supplies Thai GACP certified medical cannabis flower from Thailand, with a certified cultivation standard, a third-party COA on every batch, and export documentation for licensed importers in Germany and the wider EU. We already supply a licensed German medical cannabis buyer and presented at Mary Jane Berlin 2025.
The certification importers ask to see
Solar Farm Thailand is Thai GACP certified by the Ministry of Public Health / DTAM. Together with the third-party COA on every batch, that is the assurance licensed importers in Germany and across the EU look for. Read the GACP supplier overview for the full quality story.
EU-GACP is not EU-GMP. EU-GACP covers cultivation and collection of the plant – documented cultivation, hygiene, traceability and record-keeping under WHO-derived GACP guidelines. EU-GMP covers the manufacturing of finished medicinal products, a later stage handled downstream by licensed processors in the destination market. Solar Farm Thailand is a cultivation-stage supplier.
What we provide importers
- Third-party COA for every batch (plus an in-house HPLC lab now in commissioning).
- Seed-to-shipment traceability records.
- Export documentation for licensed importers in Germany and the wider EU.
- Certification details and a sample batch COA, shared during license verification.
Formats: premium hand-trimmed flower, trimmed, un-trimmed, popcorn and trim. Flower typically 24-30% THC, CBD under 1% unless noted. Import requirements vary by destination market and buyers must hold the required import licenses and permits – we do not provide regulatory advice.

Where EU-GACP responsibility ends and the importer’s obligations begin
For a licensed EU importer the practical question is who is accountable for what once a lot is contracted. Solar Farm Thailand is accountable for cultivation, drying, trimming and bulk packing, for the traceability record that documents each lot from propagation to dispatch, and for the independent third-party COA that travels with it.
The importer, or the licensed manufacturer it supplies, carries supplier qualification under its own quality system, the acceptance specification each lot is tested against, and any onward processing and finished-product release. Solar Farm Thailand does not hold EU-GMP certification and performs none of those steps.
For the qualification file, the farm maintains GACP-aligned SOPs, staff training records and calibrated equipment with traceable certificates; ask during licence verification which your quality unit needs to see.
Setting the acceptance specification before the first lot
Limits for microbiological quality, heavy metals and pesticide residues come from the importer’s own regulatory and processor requirements, not from the cultivator. Send a written specification during verification, then check the COA of the lot being reserved against it before confirming. Solar Farm Thailand supplies the results; interpreting them stays with the importer.
The typical potency range is a planning figure: THC typically tests at 24 to 30 percent with CBD under 1 percent unless noted, and exact values are certified per batch on the COA. A processor needing a narrower window should state it and ask which current lots fall inside it.
