Calibration & Metrology at Solar Farm
Quality Systems · Metrology
Solar Farm is a Thai-GACP and EU-GACP certified indoor medical cannabis farm in Pathum Thani, Thailand. Every scale and balance we use is calibrated to documented procedures and backed by a calibration certificate, so the measurements our team relies on stay accurate and repeatable. Calibrated measuring equipment is part of the GACP standard — it supports the batch records and third-party Certificates of Analysis that licensed buyers depend on.
Frequently asked
Calibration, standards & documentation
How does Solar Farm calibrate its scales?
Every scale and balance in the facility is calibrated following documented standard operating procedures and verified against reference weights. Each instrument carries its own calibration certificate on file, so the weights recorded across cultivation, processing and packaging stay accurate and repeatable — batch after batch.
What does a calibration certificate show?
A calibration certificate records that an instrument was checked against a known reference and that its readings fell within tolerance. It documents what was tested, the result, and the date — creating a traceable, auditable record that the measurements behind our batch documentation can be trusted.
Which standards govern Solar Farm’s quality and measurement systems?
Solar Farm operates to both Thai-GACP (Thailand Ministry of Public Health) and EU-GACP (European Medicines Agency framework) standards. Under GACP, measuring equipment used in cultivation and processing must be calibrated and maintained — so calibration is part of the certified standard, not an optional extra.
How often is equipment recalibrated?
Calibration is carried out on a scheduled basis as defined in our SOPs, and instruments are re-checked whenever accuracy could be affected. Each calibration is logged, so the maintenance history of every instrument can be reviewed during an audit.
Why does calibration matter for medical-cannabis buyers?
For a licensed buyer, the number on the scale is the number in the batch dossier they release against. Accurate, documented measurement underpins dosing, yield reconciliation and the figures on a third-party Certificate of Analysis — turning “medical-grade” from a claim into a record you can audit.
Is Solar Farm GACP certified?
Yes. Solar Farm is certified to both Thai-GACP and EU-GACP standards and provides a third-party Certificate of Analysis for every batch. Our calibration and quality-system documentation supports domestic medical supply and export to regulated markets, for licensed buyers.
